My Fiancee and I moved to Cyprus some 3 years ago. We originally bought an apartment in 2005, with a view to rent out or just use for ourselves, friends and family etc.
Within 6 weeks of arriving, we both had employment and thought to ourselves, “Yes, Cyprus is a place we could live comfortably without all the stresses of UK life”
Then there was an addition to the family, “Truffles” the cat. Well then it was time to move to a new home.
We found it in Liopetri, a smallish village just 20 minutes from Protaras. This was perfect, with open fields to the rear and a general feeling of living the “Village Life” where English was not necessarily the primary language.
Having worked with various Real Estate Companies incuding Parador Properties, ReMax and SoldOnCyprus, I could see a “niche” in the market.
